Dan Carr is a Principal with CBC Real Estate Group and his primary focus is on the development of commercial assets across the country. With over 26 years of real estate experience, Dan has been responsible for the development of over $300,000,000 in real estate projects over the past 10 years. Combined with over $2 Billion of acquisition and dispositions services, this adds to his extensive knowledge of the capital markets. Dan has worked on the planning, execution and asset management of real estate from an owner’s prospective. Dan serves as Chairman of the Board for the Clay County Economic Development IRB committee and is the Governor appointed Chairman of the Board for the MSP Commission in Jefferson City, MO.
Rick Baier is a Principal with CBC Real Estate Group and brings over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate business. His career includes executive positions at Leo Eisenberg Company, CB Richard Ellis and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Rick has been involved in all aspects of commercial real estate in Kansas City and several national markets, experienced in office/industrial/retail development, hospitality/hotel development, leasing, investment sales, land sales, and asset/facility management.
Bill Crandall acts as Managing Principal for CBC Real Estate Group and his career spans 30 years in architecture, project management and real estate development. Included among Bill’s project oversight portfolio is Logistics Park Kansas City a 1,000 acre intermodal/industrial development, Village West Tourism Destination a 200 acre, $800M entertainment district public-private project, Sprint’s World Headquarters campus a 4.00mm sf, $1.0B project, and several other development projects including corporate headquarters for Applebee’s International, Inc. and Andrews McMeel Universal. Bill has extensive experience in working with Municipalities on publically incentivized public/private partnerships. Bill is on several Board including, The First Tee of Greater Kansas City and the Friends of the Zoo where his currently Chairman of the Board.
Cathy Baier brings over 15 years of real estate experience and specializes in GSA lease development projects. Cathy spent 12 years as a contracting officer for the General Services Administration and a total of 3 years working as an investment broker for CB Richard Ellis focusing on GSA lease build-to-suits and brokerage investment properties throughout the country. While at GSA, Cathy served as a leasing contracting officer handling the region’s largest, most visible build-to-suit leased projects in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska. Cathy serves on the local Board of Directors for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Kevin Kelly serves as Chief Financial Officer and directs the corporate finance, treasury, accounting and administrative functions for the Company. Over the past 12 years, Kevin has served as CFO for both public and privately held companies. Prior to joining the Company, he served as CFO for two different venture capital-backed clean tech companies and between 1998 and 2008, Kevin served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ferrellgas Partners, L.P., a publicly-traded, Fortune 1000 propane distribution company. Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant and currently serves as audit committee chairman and board member of a privately-held pharmaceutical wholesaler and also serves on the board and audit committee of a Kansas City based charitable organization.
Michelle Kaiser serves as Senior Project Manager and has over 16 years of diverse real estate project management experience. Michelle is responsible for all facets of project development, implementation and has an acute sense of client’s needs having acted in an Owner’s Representative role for the majority of her career. She provides a structured and comprehensive management approach to coordinate, control and manage, strategic planning, due diligence, site selection, team selection, budget and schedule development, design and construction. Her projects have included tenant improvement, retail, medical, office and residential from ground-up to renovation; most notably the 700,000 SF Musicians Friend Distribution Center and UMSL at Grand Center, a joint venture project with the University of Missouri and St. Louis Public Radio. Michelle serves on the Board of the Kansas City Chapter of the Urban Land Institute.
As Vice President of Development for CBC Real Estate Group, Mike Belew's primary focus is on the development of commercial assets across the Midwest. With over 12 years of real estate experience, Mike has been responsible for the development of over $75,000,000 in real estate projects, mainly in the retail and healthcare sector. Mike has been involved in several aspects of commercial real estate in Kansas City and several national markets, experienced in office/retail development, leasing and medical office development.
Brynn Chapman is the Director of Finance for CBC Real Estate Group and has over 7 years of commercial real estate finance experience. Brynn is responsible for sourcing debt and equity for CBC’s healthcare acquisitions and development projects as well as sourcing new healthcare opportunities. Her career includes an acquisition role at Medical Properties Trust, a $2 billion healthcare real estate investment trust and various production roles at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. Brynn has been involved in multiple aspects of commercial real estate nationally and has worked with all property types including healthcare, hospitality, industrial, office, multifamily and retail.
Kristi Stuedle has over 15 years of real estate experience where she serves as Transaction Manager for the group. Kristi has a broad knowledge of leasing, sales and development activities and assists with coordinating daily activities as well as all aspects of the commercial real estate development and investment business.
