Applebee’s International appointed CBC Real Estate Group* to provide Owner’s Representative Services to manage the development of its Support Center in Lenexa, Kan. In this role, CBC formed an association with Copaken White & Blitt (now Copaken Brooks) to provide pre-development planning, team selection, management of the design and construction and overall delivery of the project.
BNIM was chosen to provide master planning and design services. Working with Applebee’s and BNIM, CBC selected J.E. Dunn for construction management services.
As Owner’s Representative, CBC was responsible for managing the overall day-to-day activity of the project.
The Support Center is approximately 180,000 square feet, with a total investment of approximately $50 million and was completed on-time and on-budget in fall 2007.
