James Stowers III is the visionary for Oxford on the Blue Bioscience and Technology Park. Supporting Mr. Stowers on this project is the joint team of Cushman Wakefield and CBC Real Estate Group.

Oxford on the Blue is a 344-acre research park with more than three million square feet of mixed-use development. Planned for biotech and other office space, the development is also intended for village-style residential housing with a significant emphasis on preserving the undisturbed and unique land, ponds, streams and trails on the site. Once construction begins, development is expected to span a 25-year period.

Located north of 87th Street between I-435 and I-49 in Kansas City, Mo., Oxford on the Blue is adjacent to 1,300 acres of land owned by Cerner, Stowers and the Francis family. This area, along with the Cerner campus, is expected to generate $1.4 billion in investment and employ 12,000 people.

Larger in acreage than Corporate Woods and the Sprint Campus, and flanked by Blue River Glades and Hillcrest Country Club, Oxford on the Blue is one of the most amazing and natural settings in Kansas City.
